Bruce Highway – Cairns Southern Access Corridor Stage 4 (Kate Street to Aumuller Street)

The Bruce Highway from Kate Street to Aumuller Street is an urban arterial road that provides connectivity from Cairns to the rest of Queensland and services both intra and inter-regional movement. It is the primary freight access to Cairns, and the principal access to the CBD from the south of Cairns. The area is affected by traffic congestion and is subject to rapid growth due to the location of a major growth corridor to the south.
