
Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade Project
Building Queensland delivered the completed Business Case to government in December 2016. The Business Case investigated duplication of the North Coast Rail Line on an improved alignment between Beerburrum and Landsborough and other upgrades to Nambour. This section of the North Coast Line is approximately 40 kilometres in length and consists of a single bi-directional line, with passing loops at stations only.

Nullinga Dam and Other Options Preliminary Business Case
The proposed Nullinga Dam site is located on the Walsh River in the Atherton Tablelands and has been proposed as a future water supply to serve growing urban demand in Cairns and to stimulate irrigated agriculture in the region, by supplementing existing supplies.
