Centenary Bridge Upgrade
Building Queensland led the development of the detailed business case for the Centenary Bridge Upgrade in partnership with the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
The Centenary Motorway performs a critical role within the broader South East Queensland transport network, providing a key link that connects the western corridor and inner and northern suburbs of Brisbane and the Australia Trade Coast Precinct. An analysis of major Brisbane River crossings revealed that Centenary Bridge has the highest lane utilisation, and traffic congestion is expected to exacerbate over time.
The detailed business case investigated the construction of a new three-lane northbound bridge and rehabilitation works for the existing bridges. Upgrades to active transport facilities were also examined.
The detailed business case was completed in mid-2019 and presented to the Queensland Government for consideration.

Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3A – Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads
The Gold Coast is Australia’s largest non-capital city and the second largest city in Queensland, with its population forecast to increase by 61 per cent to 928,000 in 2041. The provision of high-capacity public transport will allow the Gold Coast to accommodate forecast growth while preserving the attractiveness and liveability of the southern Gold Coast.
