NEED
Health service demand in the Redland area has significantly increased over the last 10 years. There is a growing, ageing population and the geographic remoteness of the Southern Moreton Bay Islands is also contributing to health service needs in the Redland region.
PROPOSAL
The proposal is investigating options for an intensive care unit, inpatient beds, theatre capacity and associated support services.
