Liam Gordon appointed Executive Director of Strategy and Advisory

Mr Liam Gordon has been appointed to the newly created position of Executive Director, Strategy and Advisory, Building Queensland. Mr Gordon has over 20 years’ experience in the Queensland public and infrastructure sectors. He has served as Executive General Manager, Projects at Queensland Rail as well as Deputy Under Treasurer, Economics at Queensland Treasury.

Mr Gordon joins Building Queensland at an exciting time. An update of Building Queensland’s Business Case Development Framework is underway to reflect contemporary practice and lessons learned. Mr Gordon will perform a key role in delivering expert advice through the framework update and other publications set to be released later this year. A series of knowledge sharing and training programs will also be implemented in late 2019 to build capability across government and industry.

Building Queensland is ready to deliver on its continuing vision to enhance infrastructure outcomes for Queensland.

Mr Gordon takes up his new position on 17 June 2019.
