Bundaberg Hospital Redevelopment
Building Queensland is leading the development of the Bundaberg Hospital Redevelopment Detailed Business Case in partnership with Queensland Health and Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The business case is investigating the construction of a new hospital that will provide fit-for-purpose infrastructure to address the future needs of the Bundaberg region.
Detailed health service modelling will be undertaken to establish the future health care demand, service capability and staffing requirements to support the growing and ageing population of the Wide Bay Burnett region. Key considerations include: access to clinical services, flood resilience and capacity for future growth and expansion.
The business case is expected to be completed in the second half of 2020.
